I was in Perimenopause and didn't even know it!!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Tanya and I'm your best middle-aged movement + mindset + nutrition coach, here to help you make peace with your menopausal body!

 

For some of us, symptoms arise and we don't even realize that we have begun the menopausal journey - that was me!!

 

Moody, irritable, night sweats, hot flashes (but only seemed to happen at Costco when I was paying my bill!!), cravings for sweets and carbs and although I was working out and eating healthy, I was getting fatter around the middle and my waist was expanding!

 

When I was 35, I had 2 young boys, 2 and 3 - boy I was busy!!  I'd had a love affair with emotional eating and simple carbs most of my life, but I wore it off with exercise and healthy eating most of the time.

 

Then GASP....

that was no longer working.  I worked out harder, got stricter with my diet and still I was one moody, night sweating mama with a muffin top that would not disappear.

I am so grateful for the simple shifts that I have made over the last 17 years that have accumulated into me feeling absolutely fabulous & vibrant through this menopausal journey.  I'm currently 52 and still have a regular period and have minimized most symptoms and have a new love & understanding for my changing body & mind. And I want to share this with you because you will be in menopause for more than a 1/3 of your life and don't you want it to be FANTASTIC.
